I've explained in "Core of SEO Part 1", that why to use an anchor text, and what is the purpose of behind using anchor texts by giving examples from the websites that are already ranking and articles written by the Google Software Engineers.

In this episode, I'll talk about the people who don't know about the anchor text distribution that causes plenty and lower in ranking.

In order to understand this concept, you must have knowledge that making a backlink is against the Google Webmaster Guidelines. It means If Google Finds that you have created the backlink by your self they will hate you and lower your ranking. That's why, you should make a backlink in this way, Google should not know that it was you who created it.

It also shows that when we make a backlink, of course, there is the anchor text behind that keyword. We know no anchor text, no backlink.

You know what is a backlink. Simply Like someone link you from Back OR Like someone talks about you when you are not there. (Look at the example below for easy understanding)

Let's come to the point. When people make backlinks on many websites, they use the same anchor text for the backlinks, in this way, Google realize that the webmaster is douching us and increasing his rank with improper way. That's why, there is no fix anchor text description for that you should follow for all the websites.

You should make such an anchor text for a backlink that seem real. Because the Person who gives the Backlink of your Article/Post/Page, He/she must have some Useful reason for that, But Google See 500 People are using same anchor text with a backlink. So How is it possible in common cases that 500 people think same while writing anchor text?


E.G:
Like you want to write Anchor Text For Such "tool for checking keyword difficulty" To Backlink write something like "Check domain and page authority of your site" It is impossible that different 500 people write same anchor text in backlink. Some niches are exceptional, but it's the same concept you need to understand.

Just check, check and check the anchor text distribution of new and old sites that are already ranking. You can check by opening one by one article of the website or use SEMRUSH, Ahref or Moz that show all the anchor text at the same time and at once place.

The website that has got a penalty, it should collect all the anchor text distribution backlinks from Majestic, they should calculate the percentage of each anchor text. Perhaps, the domain is the EMD (Exact Match Domain means the keyword which is your money keyword), and it has got 40% backlinks from the anchor text as the EMD, then you must got a penalty! Then you will make use of Disavow Tool, and remove the toxic backlinks.
